This 14 night, 15 day journey begins in Papeete, Tahiti, the largest and most populated of the islands in the French Polynesian.The second day of the journey is spent at sea, before exploring the UNESCO-Classified Nature Reserve of Fakarava. Returning to sea on day four, the m/s Paul Gauguin heads towards Omoa, Fatu Hiva, where the jungle greens begin right at the water’s edge. On day six visitors arrive at Atuona, Fiva Oa, the location of the burial site of Paul Gauguin himself. Next, the ship visits the smallest of the Marquesas, Hapatoni, Tahuata, a leaf-shaped volcanic island. Tiaohae, Nuku Hiva, the governmental and econimic centre of the Marquesas welcomes visitors on day eight. Day nine and ten are spent at sea, cruising across the Pacific Ocean. The next day of the journey invites you to enjoy the beaches, rainforests and waters of Huahine Island. Bora Bora welcomes visitors on day twelve, before arriving in Taha’a (Motu Mahana) where travellers spend day three in Paul Gauguin Cruise’s very own island paradise. Enjoy an over night in Moorea on day ten before heading back to Papeete where guests will disembark the m/s Paul Gauguin.
